Pick the car and dates
Two Mercedes C-Class cars. The total is day rate × nights, with a refundable hold shown beside it.

Identity
Stripe Identity: a photo of your ID and a selfie. The name on the ID has to match the card you pay with.

Licence
DVLA share code and the last eight of the licence. You upload the check-code PDF; a founder reviews it before keys.

Eligibility
Age, years held, points, and disqualifying codes are a fixed test against that car’s rules. No phone call, no haggling.

Agreement and deposit
You sign the hire agreement in the app. The hire fee is charged; the deposit is a hold, not a second payment.

Handover, then drive
Eleven photos on your phone, both parties confirm, keys in person. Return is the same walkaround in reverse.

What is Motiv?
Self-drive Mercedes C-Class hire in Merseyside for weddings, graduations, birthdays, and short hires. You book in the app, pass identity and licence checks, then collect in person — no phone calls.
Where do I collect the car?
A private Merseyside handover after checks and the deposit hold. Typical collection and return are 10:00. The pin is sent in the app when the hire is ready. Motiv is not an airport desk and does not publish a walk-up street address.
Which cars can I hire?
Two Mercedes-Benz C-Class cars at launch: a C 300 AMG Line in Obsidian Black, and a C 220 d AMG Line in Polar White. Day rates are shown on each car.
Who can hire?
You must meet that car’s rules. At launch that is 25 or older, two years’ licence, and no more than six points, with no DR, IN, or CD codes and no ban in the last five years. Only the named driver who passed checks may drive.
Do you take phone calls?
No. Book in the app and write to desk@motivcarhire.co.uk. Email is the record.
What is included in the day rate?
Fully comprehensive motor insurance for the booked period sits in the hire fee. The deposit is a hold, not a second payment. Valet time either side of the hire is built in. Fuel, PCNs, late return, and damage are settled against the hold after photos if needed.
