Cover
The hire includes fully comprehensive motor insurance for the booked period, for the named driver who passed checks. Exact cover, exclusions, and territory sit in the agreement you sign before keys. These paragraphs are a plain-language guide, not the policy.
Excess and the hold
We do not ask for a separate insurance product at the counter. The refundable deposit hold on that car is the security for damage, fuel, fines, and late return. After the return inspection a founder either releases the hold or captures part or all of it with an itemised reason.
What is not covered by waving it through
Driving other than the named driver, using the car outside the agreement, or ignoring the handover record. Tracker alerts (speeding, geofence) go to the desk; they are not an automatic charge in themselves.
Incidents
Message the desk from the app. Photograph as you would at handover. Do not agree a workshop bill on our behalf.
