Who can hire, and why the test is fixed
Eligibility is a rule against that car, not a conversation.

The named driver
Only the person who completed identity and licence may drive. The name on the ID has to match the card. Additional drivers are not included. There is no phone call to talk a second name onto the agreement.
The test at launch
At launch Motiv’s two Mercedes C-Class cars ask for 25 or older, two years’ licence, and no more than six points, with no DR, IN, or CD codes and no ban in the last five years. Age, years held, and points are a fixed test against that car’s rules. No haggling.
The evidence
Stripe Identity takes a photo of your ID and a selfie. You upload a DVLA check-code PDF; a founder reviews it before keys. Checks are append-only: a decided check is not edited in place. Fail, and the booking does not get keys.
The signed hire agreement is the contract. Enquiries in writing: desk@motivcarhire.co.uk.
