Handover is a guided walkaround on your phone: front, rear, each side, each wheel, dashboard mileage and fuel, interior front and rear. Eleven photos. GPS and time on each. Both parties confirm. Then keys. Return is the same walkaround in reverse.

Identity, the licence PDF, the signed agreement, and the handover photos live in private storage, served only with short-lived signed URLs. That is how a scratch is settled without a row: the record from collection against the record from return.
