What to bring to collection
The licence you uploaded, the card you paid with, and the phone that will take the walkaround.

Collection is in person, in Merseyside, after the checks have passed. The pin is sent in the app when the hire is ready. There is no walk-up counter and no published street address.
On you
- The UK licence whose check-code PDF you uploaded. Only that named driver hires.
- The card that paid the hire fee and holds the deposit. The name on the ID has to match.
- A charged phone. The eleven-photo walkaround runs on it. Both parties confirm. Then keys.
What is not a substitute
A second driver, a printed booking from another desk, or a call to talk the pin out early. Motiv does not take phone calls. If something in the app is wrong, write to desk@motivcarhire.co.uk so the hire has a record.
After keys
Return is the same walkaround in reverse, at the same kind of slot — typically 10:00, confirmed in the app. Three hours of valet sit either side of the hire. The next renter does not collect a car that has just come back.
